You Can Make A Difference
There is no act or contribution that is too small. We are truly thankful for any way you can become a part of our Jou Nouvo community. We welcome you to become an advocate and create an event to introduce us to your family and friends. Or, to volunteer with one of our programs by writing some grants, coordinating learning opportunities, or writing letters to thank our donors. Do you speak Haitian Creole or have an interest in teaching English or guiding leadership workshops? We’d love to have you tutor or mentor our students. Maybe you would like to sponsor a child’s education or donate to one of our many programs focused on the cycle of hope you can help create.

One of the greatest things you can do to help others is not just to share and give what you have, but to help them discover what they have within themselves to help themselves.

Host virtual or in-person events to share who we are and what we are about.
Create stories, write an article, and contribute to our content.
Share, like, and comment on our social media posts.
Expand our donor base by asking new networks of your friends, families, and even coworkers to consider donating to our cause.

Your willingness to volunteer and help us create a cycle of hope in Bon-Repos means the world to us. We are looking for those with professional experience and familiarity with nonprofit organizations. The contributions you make are appreciated and needed. Perhaps you’d consider helping us with one of the below:
We’d love help and expertise with grant writing. We’d love help with applying for and qualifying for as many grants as possible. Skills in researching grants, reviewing guidelines, creating proposals, and communicating with clients and donors are appreciated. If you are interested in changing lives by putting pen to paper for our cause, we can’t wait to meet you.
If you enjoy writing in general, we’d love your help ensuring we are thanking and following up with all our child sponsors and donors with thoughtful thank-you notes. Or perhaps you’d like to contribute a story or article that supports our content.
We are also looking for college and university students who are interested in learning and helping with non-profit projects or mentoring other college students in Haiti.
We are looking for volunteers to coordinate speaking engagements at different venues like churches and schools, women’s groups, and book clubs. We also need help organizing house parties, raffles, book sales, bake sales, yard sales, and other fundraisers.
Expand our donor base by asking new networks of your friends, families, and even coworkers to consider donating to our cause.
*Suggestions and offers to help outside of what are outlined above are welcome and appreciated.
