Support the Future Leaders of Haiti
The Haiti Youth Education Fund (HYEF) empowers Haitian students to attend a prestigious university in Haiti and helps them realize their dream of higher education.
The cost of tuition for one semester at a university in Port-au-Prince could be anywhere from $300-750. HYEF plans for $5,000-10,000 per student for four years, depending on their program of study and the university they choose. This includes tuition, books, a laptop computer, and other personal expenses they may need. In addition to the supplies, Jou Nouvo actively engages with each student during their university journey. By making them feel supported, we help these students succeed.

The cost of one semester at university in Port au Prince varies from $300-750 (not including housing and transportation fees) depending on program and university.

Thanks to generous seed funding from the Community Engagement Fund at the United Church of Christ in Norwell, a partnership between UCC Norwell, Thayer Academy, and Jou Nouvo, we are able to finance this program.
